Thanks for this generous gift, Jeff! It looks terrific, and although I’m a slow reader, I intend to read it all. I’m especially grateful that it is digital so I can use text-to-speech with it.

It’s amazing that you can squeeze 103 beautiful pages into 3.4 MB for an almost instant download. –Paul

Thank you for sharing the book and congratulations! I’m going to ask for it from iBooks. I think they sometimes use the requests as a way to decide what to put in the store, at least it’s seemed that way on iTunes.

    Good luck and thanks again!

Jeff, I am looking forward to reading Reach. Great title! I was wondering why you selected that word and now I know. Exciting. I can almost smell the pages.

Mr. Madigan, my 9th grade world history teacher, told us that when he was in the military, he always carried a book to read. He told us we should do the same. Start a library, he used to say, and keep a paperback book in your back pocket for when you have some time and then read.

That was as true then as it is now. Reach may not be a paperback, we’ve moved on from there, but I’m going to spend some time on an island off the coast of Maine soon and Reach, so to speak, will be in my back pocket.

Thanks for the gift of your insights and the book.

    Regards

Jeff, I’m most impressed with REACH.

A very readable book which, I suggest, should be a compulsory pre-read before any major ICT CPD initiative. I just wish that I had a copy of your book ten years ago!

    Best Wishes,

Thanks for your generosity Jeff – I’m half way through the book and it’s a terrific explanation of the connections between digital and networked literacy. Best description of why Twitter works I’ve read so far. Thanks for being part of my PLC! I’ll be buying a print edition that I can share with my colleagues.
