NeoCounter-cool tool but not free

If you've actually visited my site lately you would have noticed a trail version of NeoCounter working. I saw it on another blog and thought it was cool (sorry can't remember were) so I decided to give it a try. Pretty cool little application. You roll over the countries and it shows you a map of that country. Pretty cool unless you're from New Zealand where it shows Australia. I have enough Kiwi friends to know that's a no, no. :)

There NeoEarth looks pretty cool as well. But when clustrmap is free do I really need it for $12/year? Sure they have a free version but as far as I can tell it doesn't do any more then clustrmap.

Maybe it's just me, but there are so many cool FREE blogging tools out there I can't bring myself to pay for one unless it's a must have...which I haven't found yet. The only thing I'm paying for on this blog is server space.

My 14 day trail of the premium Neocounter runs out on the 20th so we'll see what it looks like then.
