My school's podcast site
OK so I have to work on my mic levels a little and found out why when I talked to Tim Wilson at NECC he said a good pair a headphones is a must. Picking up a set this weekend.
Let me introduce to you one of two big projects of mine this year.
Pudong Nerve Central: Podcast Headquarters of SAS-Pudong
Basically this is our podcast site. We should be registered with iTunes by next week and have one click access to subscribe to the podcast through iTunes. My principal, Andy Torris, is the guy with the great voice. We produce two podcasts a week. One for the elementary and one for the middle school. Each podcast is released on Friday covering the weeks past events and news of upcoming events. The middle schoolers listen to their podcast during homeroom on Fridays. Today was their first day and most of the reviews were good. One students said, "Yeah, but there's no video." Can't please them all!
Anyway I bought the domain pudongnervecentral.com which seems to be working (if someone could verify this for me outside of China I'd appreciate it!) but is not accessible here in China do to the filtering system. I've already filled out the little form you have to online to get something unblocked. Last time it took 4 months so we'll see how it goes this time. If you are in China you can access the site through this domain: http://blogs.saschinaonline.org. Both take you to the same place.
Any and all feedback welcome. Just know that I'm new at this so go easy. :)
